Goodwin is a full-service hunter, equitation and jumper training program located near Seattle. With a goal to create a fun, inclusive environment, Goodwin helps riders and horses learn, grow and create positive experiences in and out of the show ring.
Head trainer, Dustin Goodwin started his riding career at the age of ten in British Columbia. Growing up in Canada, Dustin highlighted his junior career with reserve championship wins in both the Running Fox C.E.T. Medal Finals and the Equine Canada Hunt Seat Medal Finals at the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto in 2002.
At 18, Dustin started his professional career before taking an eight year hiatus to pursue a degree and career in design. Upon returning to the sport in 2013, Dustin work for eight years at Oz Incorporated helping a successful team reach national level results.
With several national championships including the 2017 WCHR Developing Professional National title, seven USHJA International Hunter Derby wins, and over 25 USHJA National Derby wins, Dustin aims to continue creating high level results for his customers and a positive environment for all levels of riders and horses.
Our Facility
Goodwin is located at the beautiful Clearview Inc. in Snohomish, WA. This lovely 50 acre farm overlooks the Cascade Mountains and is easily accessible from Seattle and surrounding areas. The facility offers two state-of-the-art arenas: an all-weather 240’ x 225’ outdoor and 72’ x 180’ indoor both with brand-new premier quality footing. Horses can enjoy grass turnout fields, a Kraft covered hot walker and a treadmill.
